Get on KARN AM 920. The FM station (102.9)does not pick up Shawn and Wally until 6:00.

I once was told a story of a little town in Arkansas, my buddy was from there... he's got the greatest Arkansas drawl out there (and he's a smart kid, he was one of my dad's grad students)... he spoke of his town and said, "we aren't a one stoplight town, we used to be until they took it down, we're a one stop sign town."
... anyway, he spoke of a time that they decided to put up street signs everywhere that wasn't the center of town, because they had none. Just country roads that the locals knew. So they hired "a bunch of good ol' boys" to put the signs up. Not wanting to bother naming the "streets" they decided to number them. So these "good ol' boys" hopped into a pickup with a bunch of beer and threw the signs up... Well, they didn't throw 'em up in any order, 1st Street followed 13th, and then 8th after that, and then 22nd, and 5th.
It was a fiasco... but him telling it in his drawl is the funniest story. Eventually they had to raise a bit more money to send some guys out, making sure they were sober first, to rectify the situation.
Worked at a large bank in Austin in the 70s. Hired a temp to file loan files that had been pulled by officers and were piling up. Did not find out until a couple of weeks later she did not know the alphabet. She just stuck files in wherever she wanted. Took months to get them straightened out.

Just got a note that they will be posting the interview soon... and considering that they are in Arkansas, that might not be until tomorrow or Monday. You know, they don't even have dial-up there, they are still on rotary-up.
