FYI - I plan to be there to support the players (unless medical issues get in the way). I don't hate JJ, but am really disappointed how he has handled himself in the aftermath. I don't begrudge him looking, but you have to expect some backlash (from SMU not just ASU) and do more than put out rote PR statements.

I enjoy PonyFans [deleted] at eachother about attendence problems when we are clearly the top 5% of all of SMU Football fans...

Go complain to your friends who aren't on PF, who don't follow the program as closely as the majority of us.

For the record I am calling out SMU as a whole, not pony fans posters. Believe me, there are plenty of people who read our threads without creating an account. We need our alumni and fan base to be more actively engaged.

so you'll have an empty seat on either side of you, and a place to set your drink too.

New to bowl games. What is the best way to buy, online or at SMU ticket office on campus? Will be in Dallas soon so ticket office is not out of the way.

Either way. You'll pay a fee online. They can mail them to you or you can pick them up at the ticket office. They haven't distributed the actual tickets yet, though.

If I had the money I'd be there. Can't wait to finish school, get a job, and be able to have the money to make road games, especially bowl games. Oh well.

Join the magic RBA school bus to Birmingham! $150 total, bus and game ticket. That's like, what? 5 fertility clinic "donations"?

I'm sick of hearing about attendance being an issue. The fact is that anyone who graduated since 1986 has NO connection to our football program and just doesn't identify with it at all. 20 years of being the worst team in D-1 football followed by 3 seasons of underwhelming success is not going to get fans traveling to [deleted] [deleted] birmingham alabama to play [deleted] [deleted] pittsburgh. These things take TIME. The only thing June can do is keep winning and be patient.

I graduated in 1997 and I will be there. Did not realize everyone else going graduated at least 11 years before me.

But I agree, it does take time.

I was at Smu in the 90's and worked for the football team. Sorry to hear I have no connection.
