We lost one kid, who was the 34th ranked ILB and thus had bonus points because top 35 ILB get bonus. Losing him dropped us fairly significantly in points, but it was one kid. They only rank in the top 50, so hard to say but I doubt we are too far outside it.

Do you honestly think that losing one kid is a class collapsing? There is no evidence of that on ponypride.com.

I know we have several threads of similar discussion, its the fact that I remember reading that any committments from now on will be weak and limited because of what transpired. I feel that if Marks and the big guys feel this isnt right for them, they will find some way out to different schools. You said "per evidence on ponypride.com". You should post whatever that evidence was and we could respond to it. I am not sure what you are referring to.

What kind of article would instill confidence in you? His tweet saying he is staying here has been posted, does that not do it for you?

I take AK at his word. I have no reason to not do so. He didn't have to say what he did. I know things change and you do what is best for you. However, I think at this particular time he is shooting straight. I think he feels great things are going to happen at SMU "...We are so close!" He also tweeted several SMU fans that he hasn't forgotten when he didn't know what to do next "u ALL embraced me & gave me my shot!" AK is for REAL! He's home at SMU. PONY UP!

I respect AK for being a man of his word. If AK ever shows up sporting a lei, he's on my #2 list.

If there's anything this board can agree on right now, it's that she's a moron.

...she has NO clue...it may be good to send her a message on the free Scout private messages about how silly she is and how she is losing SMU fans...I just sent her one.

thanks for posting. sometimes, it's easier to get directly to the good news without wading through a ten-page thread.

They write stuff to get readers. That's why I don't accept anything they write as gospel. If they don't have a story but can make one out of a situation, they will make one up. You've seen it time after time. Perhaps AK has stated something while joking or with no meaning at all - they take it as a serious hint. Maybe I'll be proved wrong, but AK is our coach and no one is taking him (but cross your fingers just in case).

I just went and looked at all of the post from Laken and the west coast writers on twitter. It's pretty insane, either they have banded together to get him out of SMU, or, they have nothing else to write about. I doubt it's the latter.
