He'd be a good CEO coach who could get a ton of quality assistants, but not really a splash hire.

And he does know the importance of recruiting in-state.

We really Gould get Meyer I involved with marketing, the guy could always sell.
The Blackhawks do a lot of great things with ex players and coaches, they make them ambassadors, the host dinners, camps, adult camps, ect.

Ron Myer is my all time favorite... We need the next Ron Meyer!
He took Patriots and Colts to playoffs from humble beginnings, won AFC coach of the year twice!
Very under rated IMO. He turns 70 in February.

Meyer has some baggage that would get significant scrutiny from both the school and the NCAA. Meyer has significant ties to gaming (gambling). He has been employed by casinos and runs his own NFL betting advise website.
Gaming is a huge issue to the NCAA and Meyer would have so explaining to do.
