A lot of folks on the various UCLA boards are not happy with this hire. Some are saying this will put the program back 5 years.

based on ponyfans this past week, message boards have proven to be a horrible source of opinion.
desk jockeys have NO clue what goes into running a football program. me included.

Listening to it live. So far the basic stuff you'd expect. No mention of any names of assistants brought on other than he wants to bring on "big-time" recruiters. My guess is if AK is a "done deal", this ain't where you're going to hear it.

He would not want to announce AK at the initial news conference, does not want to see the fans more excited about the OL coach than they are about him.
