UCLA: Sources close to the situation to us to expect Steve Broussard to join Jim Mora's staff. We are also told that Mora has offered the offensive coordinator position to Noel Mazzone. Mazzone, we hear, is waiting to see what happens at ASU before deciding.

UCLA: We hear that over the next few days that Jim L. Mora will be making some key additions to his staff. Among those hires will be a few highly regarded recruiters. More to come on that...

Last I had heard was that Mouse was at Portland St. Don't know for sure if he was there this past season but I know 2010 he was.

If so, is there any chance his buddy June could bring him to Dallas to help get the offense humming the way it is supposed to? I would assume he'll be looking for a job, and maybe he brings the skillset/motivational ability/whatever it is to get the QB to understand the offense and get it clicking.

Nick Rolovich, a former June Jones and Hawaii QB, was OC at Hawaii. He might be a good addition to staff.

Interesting thought but I'm not sure an 80 year old June mentor is the direction we should be looking for our offense or recruiting issues . . . Mouses is probably the Old Testament version of the Junesus, even more rigid in our archaic Run N Shoot commandments: thou shalt run four verticals on 3rd and 1, thou shalt not hike a ball under center, thy quarterback shalt run to the sidelines between plays . . .

I think Colt Brennan would be a better addition but Rolo would be good as well.

GO PONIES!!!

Mouse Davis coached the receivers for Hawaii the last couple years. He helped put Greg Salas and Kealoha Pilaris into the NFL.

The bad part of having Mouse as a coach is that he no longer has the energy to go out and recruit and wants no part of that.

Mouse packed his bags and left a day after McMackin "retired". The writing was on the wall as the interim head coach stated that ALL asst coaches WILL recruit.

Lets make a deal, we'll trade you Mouse for Reinebold as receivers coach.

Good call. I hadn't even thought of that.

right. I can see why you would rather have the guy with zero coaching experience.

Stupid comment. Colt has some professional experience as well as a known name which would be excellent for recruiting. Probably knows and could teach R&S QB technique as well as anybody. How much coaching experience did AK have when he came here??

GO PONIES!!!
