Know nothing about that but David is an open book. He will tell you what he thinks whether it is offensive or not. Bottom line is he supported MC with his money, went to most SMU athletic fund raiser events, bought many season tickets to FB and BB, had a BLVD spot, went to all home FB and BB events even though he lives south of the mid cities and traveled to most away games. He was a rabid SMU fan although he is a non-alum. I know I will miss his support of the program.

yeah I think was just a well timed staged show because he realized watching the Big 12 would be more fun

I understand your crush on the Big 12, but it's way less sexy than you make it out to be. Clearly the top 2-3 Big 12 teams are better, but the Big East is pretty interesting top-to-bottom, and the potential travel locations are a 1,000 times better. Ames? Lubbock? Manhattan? Stillwater? Really? Plus, the basketball will be unquestionably better. I get that some feel like it's a punch to your man marbles, but c'mon. It’s an exciting step and no fan should have wandered off over it.
The locations might be better in the BE but it is easier to get to the B12 locations. Just saying.
