We don't have it in the budget to send the band because the conference sends the bands to any affiliated bowl game not located in Hawaii on their own dime. I have posted this before

Similar to how we were able to get a band to West Lafayette for the women's NCAA tournament game against Notre Dame a few years ago because NCAA pays for the band to go.

Really a difficult tome for the bowl game for students. Rush is getting underway and many students will be preparing for Rush. I would think the band has more latitude but could be wrong. I sure hope the band, cheerleaders, dance squad and all the horseys make it.

You know Pitt will turn out all its mascots including some fake panther (probably based on a Florida species).

the band is driving out to the bowl. band kids told to return to dallas for the trip.
