how come only my thread get this crap

This one got me thinking and I came up with a few things:
-2000 Oklahoma team and 1987 Miami Hurricane team went undefeated and 4 and 5 top 10 teams respectively. That's about as close as I could get for undefeated teams beating ranked teams.

I looked a little further and found Georgia's 1980 National Championship Schedule. A schedule like this just doesn't happen anymore. You won't find a College of Charleston, or Western Kentucky or anything like that. To make it through an SEC schedule and a non-conference schedule of Clemson, TCU, Ga. Tech, Texas A&M and Notre Dame in the bowl game is truly a most impressive feat.

This just gets me more and more angry and disappointed in the system we have today that allows teams to schedule these cupcake schools.

One year is not a large enough sample...

Storied programs dominate Ladder 119's top rungs

Without a playoff everything is speculation but the big moneyed teams have always dominated and always will!

They were asking the same question about Oklahoma recently...can't remember which season but they didn't win the natl title. May have been more than once

...and my USC Trojans were being proclaimed the GREATEST TEAM in ALL COLLEGE FOOTBALL HISTORY until Vince Young and BEVO put an end to that speculation.

That was a great game. Bet it made all blonde haired Southern California Italians sad

NO ONES BODY OF WORK OVER THE COURSE OF ONE SEASON IS BETTER there may have been a better team but that team didnt beat as many good teams in one year

HP I used to hate USC for there ap championship they got when LSU got there BCS one but you sir have changed my mind on USC
