I told you guys when he was visiting it was possible. To review...many high school guys take college credits and in the case of Ut enroll in spring semester of their senior year of high school. They attend both sessions of summer school also. Hence, to protect themselves and their eligibility they try to be able to graduate in 3 years so that along with a redshirt year they will have two years of eligibilty remaining and won't have to sit out a year since they have graduated per ncaa rules. Also, to not lose a whole year of eligibility if benched early in the season, they will have to "discover" an injury such as lifting weights or a shoulder which most football players have something that will require surgery and will therefore be able to apply for a medical redshirt. Believe me when I say no good qb wants to be benched in the second game of the season and then transfer and sit out another whole year which basically means missing two whole years. Ironic how players have to do this but a coach can break his contract and leave in a heartbeat.

I hope it's Gilbert. I think he can be a star in our system. Gilbert is much better than McDermott. With Line coming back, we'll be a better team right off the bat. He'll learn our system and I think he has the arm to make this an explosive offense.

I spoke to McJunkin a couple weeks ago. He will be back. I know that still leaves some gaps but that's a stud in the middle.

Just need to go get a couple of JUCO O-Linemen. We have a few spots open in the recruiting class now, no?

I've never made a prediction on this board. I would only say something if I had a pretty reliable source and was pretty sure......If I'm wrong, everyone can smash on me and I'll never make another prediction again
