They're just cute and adorable little nerds.

I need to get a new login on scout so I can torture cougar high next year.

Aggies’ 2012 football schedule

The SEC released the 2012 Texas A&M football schedule on Wednesday morning. Two nonconference opponents must still be determined. The Aggies will play three consecutive SEC road games in late October and early November:

Sept. 1 McNEESE STATE
Sept. 8 FLORIDA
Sept. 15 @ SMU
Sept. 22 TBD (possible open date)
Sept. 29 vs. Arkansas
Oct. 6 @ Ole Miss
Oct. 13 TBD (possible open date)
Oct. 20 LSU
Oct. 27 @ Auburn
Nov. 3 @ Miss. St.
Nov. 10 @ Alabama
Nov. 17 TBD (possible open date)
Nov. 24 MISSOURI

maybe we get lucky because of turmoil caused by SEC-I'm not holding my breath though. I'd assume now more than ever they would want a DFW game though. If we keep the TCU and A&M game surely there is a great opportunity to market season tickets-

Stand your ground and make TAMU come to Ford. Do not buckle to pressure to move the game to Cowboys Stadium or the Cotton Bowl unless they're going to pay you $2 million+.

So if things stay as they are (A&M keeps our game, and we end up playing one more year in CUSA), our home schedule next season will look something like this:

TX A&M
SFA
TCU
Houston
So. Miss
Tulsa
Memphis

Compare that to the 2011 home slate (NWSt., UTEP, Rice, Tulane, UCF, Navy), and I won't be too surprised if we see significantly improved attendance in 2012.

SFA brought a lot of people in 2010.

So what? It's hard to get new fans when the game day atmosphere is horrible. We need aggies and frogs in the stadium to generate more mustangs at future games.

I was reading where neither Arkansas or aTm could have recruits at the game when it was at Jerry World as well. So it made since from a recruiting prospect to change the game. Don't look for the SMU game to be bought out as they already have a D1AA team in MCNeese State already scheduled and they don't view SMU as a major threat to beat them. In fact, they can use this game to invitie local recruits to attend.
