Even Daniel Roundtree?

Do you mean purge all Cali kids or just the ones that Klemm recruited?

Yep, termite-infested oak. Not at all surprising though, he was a "SMU is my school" guy because his offer list was terrible and he thought nothing better was going to come along.

My word is stronger than oak...............

A month before signing date with this staff? It will be interesting to see one of them do that.

Jim Mora made an in home (guess it's easier for Mora but JJ could have stopped on his way to Hawaii).
REALLY surprised by this one ... SMU will play in the Rose Bowl game before WSU OR UCLA guys ... enjoy staying at or near home and never growing beyond your own backyard. I've been a big fan of expanding our recruiting to Cali (especially since I live out here and see the talent) but the Klemm [deleted] has got me starting to agree with MM. (Also reminds me that most 18 year old meatheads really don't have a clue about what's best for them).

Col. Blake: you know what this desk is made out of, radar?
Radar: Oak, sir.
Col. Blake: Nope. It's oak.

This guy had offers from Army and Nevada. The fact that UCLA might offer him is probably worse news for UCLA fans than his decommiting is for SMU fans.

Nick Rolovich apparently will not be retained on new Hawaii staff. He's at least young if not Texan.

How did Rolovich recruit for Hawaii?

Since June is actually heading out to Hawaii for vacation tomorrow, why NOT stop off in Cali to make HC personal visits with many or at least some of the Cali recruits?.....just a thought.
(June told a few of us in Birmingham he was heading to Hawaii tomorrow)

Great.... I'm glad June is so satisfied with where we are that he can go relax in Hawaii with all the work that needs to be done with recruiting. [deleted] that guy
What the hell is our staff doing?

While JJ is on vaction in Hawaii, maybe he will bring back 3-4 300lb Samoan offensive linemen.

Incredible- we have no one recruiting except for JR and JJ goes on vacation. You can tell he is really committed to us. Our top level recruits are dropping like flies and he cares less.
GO PONIES!!!

CMF- I believe that there is a national coaches convention hence the reason for the dead period.
Since he has not publicly announced a new hire for recruiting he might want to do a little 'coach' recruiting at the convention instead of soaking up rays on the beach.
