Games shouldnt' be during the night because some of us have kids and they can't stay up late.

Games shouldn't be during the day on weekends because some of us have kids and they have soccer games and birthday parties and other stuff.

Games shouldn't be during the week because some of us have to work and some of us have kids that can't stay up late because of school or sports and stuff the next day.

If SMU cared about this stuff they would figure this out. They don't. Everything always sucks!

How about after 3PM on a Friday? Isn't that the time nobody is doing anything?

If only there was a way to disguise Ford Stadium so that it looks like a giant Gloria's or Frankie's...

You must be the only one on this board who is not aware that the TV networks are really in control of the actual dates and times.

Since A&M is in the SEC now, any chance ESPN could buy rights to our game and move it to a Thurs night? That would be awesome. Best way for the program to build exposure with recruits and casual fans- be the only game on. Like someone mentioned earleir, it's what TCU and Boise did

If it's on a Thursday, the out of towners can't make it

Did you look in the stands last year? The out of towners arent making it on Saturdays, either.

We'll play the game whenever TV Networks tell us to play it.

With the current attendance count I would not be surprised if there were not as many out of towners at the games as there are locals. But I will say, I will take off work for a Thurday A&M game.

DING DING DING

I am planning on flying to Dallas (from CT) for the A&M or TCU game. My tentative plan:
1) Fly out Friday morning - Dinner with the family - watch my nephew play football.
2) Watch the game on Saturday with my dad and nephew. Don't care what time it is - just make it on Saturday.
3) Fly home on Sunday so my wife doesn't kill me.

At Thursday night game would be brutal.

The same 20k people who will show up on Saturday will also watch on TV on Thurs or Fri night. But, when we play on Saturdays, we compete with the Texas, OU, Arkansas, LSU games. If we play on a weeknight, we get considerably more exposure. Again, this is what TCU and Boise did, and look where they're at now.
