If the payout is that much higher in Bevo12, they could bolt for greener pastures. I highly doubt it though.
BYU and Louisville on the other hand are probably locks to go if invited once the ACC schools turn it down.

Clemson & FSU to the Big 12? Of all the rumors about realignment, this is perhaps the dumbest. Perhaps the Arkansas to Big 12? No, FSU & Clemson to the Big 12 - dumbest rumor ever.

BYU really played a bad hand with regards to realigment. They acted all Whorn-ish with their demands for BYU television rights and guaranteed TV exposure. They were quickly given the finger by the Big 12. Two things working against BYU - 1) They do nothing for College Football's largest advertiser - Beer Sales. 2) the Holy Rollers that run BYU want their team to be special, and care less about conferences and revenue then they do about using the team as propaganda for converts.
Texas wants the Big 12 to evolve into a holding pen for basketball and non-revenue sports so that their football team can go independent. To this end, they would very much like Notre Dame to flip conferences from the Big East to the Big 12. Notre Dame would need some local rivalries to consider this. Look to the Big 12 to offer Louisville, Cincinnatti as a package deal together with ND basketball to the Big 12.
