He's done enough for us, remember? He reminded us of that after we beat him in Ft. Worth...

What is it with you and calling people "gay?"

It's called a joke, I've given credit to TCU and Pfatterson for what they've accomplished despite my distaste for that school. He's not my dream hire though by any means, frankly though I wouldn't mind having Kirby Smart if I were to have my pick of the litter. Aside from all of that I'm grateful for what June has done up to this point. It's obvious that I, as well as any other SMU fan wants an undefeated season year after year, and my opinion is always subject to change on ANYONE that fails to win consistently, but until we quit improving under June, I will continue to support him as our coach. After reading some of the people's thoughts on him (yours in particular) I wouldn't blame him for considering other opportunities. He's done a lot for our program so far given the circumstances, but he can't build onto what he's created without continuous support.

Stallionsmu wrote:So you're assuming that June Jones actually reads this site, don't flatter yourself. If that guy is concerned with anything written about him its in the newspaper or on ESPN. My opinion, your opinion, and all other fans opinions on June aren't what he worries about. I've met June and I'll tell you he's thick skinned as hell. He's going to leave if you and your lost generation don't start showing and buying season tickets. Thats what coaches care about, real support
First of all Scallion I never said he comes on this site and reads (much less gives two shakes of a hogs [deleted] about any opinions on here), reread my post that said "IF." My post was to point out that his work and achievements have been unappreciated by several fans. Second, you don't know diddly squat about me and my "lost generation." I was born in 87', and been a fan of the program and loved the school from as early as I can remember knowing what football was. I BUY tickets to the game, I drive two hours to watch crappy teams like Tulane and NW State Tech or whatever they were called because the team I love and support plays them, and I enjoy those games! I encourage friends of mine who know little about the school to come with me so they can see what the schools all about. For a college student of my age and income I do what I can to support the program. So you can take your assumptions on me elsewhere! By the way, I thought you were the one looking to talk all rational? Why'd you go back and edit your "gay" comment above?!?
