Re: Honesty
Those who don't like baseball have neither the patience nor the passion for it. You're missing out.
Biz I'll be more interested as soon as you stop lobbing grenades at Doherty. That act of yours is over. Find a new way.

I guess if you know what percentage people on here know that means you must know much more to be accurate in your assessment. Tell us what you know because inquiring minds want to know.

Well, share your wisdom with us about the 80-85% we peasants aren't privileged enough to see. Otherwise, your post is not helpful.

Robby Braggadocio? From St. Ralph's School for the Blind? Is that who we're down to now?

They lose their coach unexpectedly and in 4 days, on a short week, before Easter weekend can close a deal to get a SEC coach replacement. Not saying it's going to be the better hire but that's how it's done.
Why do you automatically assume this is a good hire???? Just because they made a quick decision does not mean it was a good or right decision. Talk to me in 4 years when the program at TCU is still at the bottom of the Big XII.
It probably won't be a good conversation if we are at or near the bottom of the Big East as well.
You could well be right. My only point is that a quick hire is not necessarily the best or right hire. Our situation is absolutely critical to transform a program on life support to competitive in the Beast in a few years. If the coaching search takes 2 months it should not matter so long as we are focused on the big picture and long term goals.

Re: Honesty
I understand what you are saying. However, when you have a very limited pool of top tier, high quality candidates that are making decisions very quickly then IMO, time is of the essence.
I happen to feel that our opportunities to obtain a top tier coach have passed and we are now forced to look at second tier coaches which will most likely do little to 'impress the haves' in the BEAST let alone move us into the top 25- as SO so often states.

Isn't this what we were saying before June Jones was announced as the next Head Coach of the football team?

so are you suggesting we are waiting for Stan Van Gundy or somebody to finish their season? Last time I looked, the season ended Monday and I don't think we were waiting on Calipari or Bill Self.

Are you saying "there must be" like chances are there is, or "there must be" like we're screwed if not?
