I'm pretty sure that is coming from the SID, since it's been capitalized every time it's mentioned since we accepted the invitation.

Any change in the marketing of our athletics should be given a fair chance in my book, I just hope that we can carve out a niche in this city, where the public has so many options for live sports and other entertainment.

Aa I have said before, the Board of Trustees has charged SO to make butts in the seats at both Ford and Moody his number 1 priority. This new sales team is step 1. Although the leadership is from outside SMU, it has been hiring recent SMU grads as its sales force. I know, I met seveal of them at the practice on Saturday.

had to laugh about the comment to add 5 thousand students in the seats. We get about 1500-2,000 now - which is not bad considering we are 6,400 undergrads. 5k more would mean 100% attendance.
There isn't a school in the country who gets more then 60% of their students to a game. Maybe aggie is close

I'd say that Notre Dame gets over 60%. But they are the exception, not the rule

Thank you! We'd be very successful getting 3600-4000 undergrads to the games. The remaining 10000-15000 empty seats are going to be filled by Dallasites and wayward alumni. Let's get to it!
