Dream conference? Wow, you're really shooting for the stars on this one! You forgot Southlake Carrol, HP, and Stephen F. Austin.

The only decent perennial football programs in your "dream conference" are TCU and Boise St. If we want to get respect, we need to play with the big boys, and win. Beating Colorado St., UTEP, Utah St., etc...impresses no one.

CUSA f'ed themselves when they added the commuter schools.

The big east even without Boise and sdsu is 1000 times better than cusa as it stands now.

If the big east added Tulsa, USM and ECU it would' be CUSA minus the dead weight.

I could see the catholic hoops schools merging with the a10 and forming a new hoops conference.

Even in the worst case scenario for the big east SMU is still better off.

Destroyed by DeLoss Dodds who pitted the NCAA against every team in the conference and then decried that it had been weakened by scandal. Abe Lemons, the old UT basketball coach for you youngsters, used to talk about how stupid Deloss was. Dodds started out as a track coach at Kansas State. Abe said any idiot can coach track: "Just tell the runners to keep making left turns."
