I used to think we argued abut uniforms until I now have to listen to the Arkansas folks arguing about potential changes with their uniforms this year. Charchol is one new color and they have new helmet that may show up that is white with a red hog outline. Supposedly the helmet looks pretty good, but there are old time traditionalists vs newbies feuds going on up here.

Can't stand black socks...especially those that go to the knees.

And "too girly"? Please... SMU's white jersey/white pants/white helmet uniform is the best-looking uniform in the entire country.

Nike will figure out a way to screw it up, because it's far more interested in getting attention to the uniforms themselves than to the teams wearing them.

If we were to switch to red helmets I would hope it would be to go back to our glory days of Doak Walker. Red helmet, red jersey, khaki/golden pants. That said, my preference is to keep the current look. Red or blue jerseys are fine. I love the white helmet and stripes on the pants.
