Just gonna throw it out there, it's probably easier to turn a dirt pile construction site into a patch of grass with some marble in the middle than to build from scratch a 10-20 million dollar state of the art indoor practice facility w/ little open space that has to look aesthetically pleasing and blend in with a style of architecture. That, and I bet a donor wanted it.

No, they're not. But, I personally don't get it how some folks prefer top 25 in football vs. improving ourselves academically. Last time I heard, we were an academic institution first. Kudos to you for thinking we can be both.
