Re: Baylor message boards?
From what I've read the posters over there don't think it's going to be much of a game against us and doubt we bring 2,000 people.

I agree with all this except for the beer not being cold enough. That is not acceptable and I will complain, whinge and cry anytime the beer is not cold enough.
Beat me to it, I too will scream, yell, complain, cry, throw a fit or whatever if the beer ain't cold and the women ain't hot.

I've seen more of a mixed bag. That said I understand why they think that even though I disagree. They remember GG in 2010 and they figure our offense moved it on good D's last year.
I understand their logic but it does overlook quite a bit of unknowns on both sides.

WordUpBU, I read that the Waco city council ok'd the new stadium, as expected. Have you heard if BU was able to raise all of the 250 million?

Not all but enough that the rest isn't going to be a problem.

SMU should give Baylor a good game. GG will have a better running game and better targets to throw to than he had at UT. Baylor should still have a weak defense and should take a step back at QB, but their running game should be more dangerous. Assuming GG knows the offense then I'd expect an entertaining and close Shootout. Given that Baylor's QB is much more experienced within their system and that they're at home I'd probably favor Baylor, but nothing like "Batlor by 21".
How many people are you all expecting to bring?

BAPTIST?! I can not speak for DiamondM75 but I am not Baptist. I was raised at Park Cities Baptist but I gave up being a Baptist due to my drinking.

I'm Presbyterian now.

Baylor is only 30% baptist these days (I'm not part of that 30%) and has "allowed" alcohol at tailgates since around 2006 and has allowed dancing since 1995 (can't believe it was ever against the rules to dance).

06 and 95?! Wow. You're really not helping your case here.
I know they still have gender segregated housing...

I'm not trying to help...just stating facts. It was laughable that you couldn't dance on campus or drink at football games.

And then there's you having Ken Starr as your president and the whole Obama effigy hanging thing...

There was no Obama effigy. Some students accidentally left a rope in a tree they had hung a sign with. Weeks later the election happened and the media ran with it as if someone had left a noose due to the election.
Re: Baylor message boards?
I go to a baptist church and drink bourbon and beer! Let's not frown on baptist too much now!
