^^^^ Absolutely agree! Sadly it will take the Baylor game to see where we are. GG better put on his running spikes and try to avoid sacks. This was the problem at UT. I see a lot of quick passes in that game to Johnson, Johnson and Line. I just hope the D can hold Baylor down.

Offensive line should absolutely be the number one priority.

Looking at last season, the D gave up over 30 4 times.

A&M - Defensive line underperformed at the team wore down because of poor offensive production.
TCU - defense played awesome first three quarters, faltered late.
Tulsa - whole team was awful and got blitzed in the air.
Houston - held the top offense in the country in the first half, and then just wore down in the second due to poor offensive production.

Having sanders as a starter to start the season is going to help overall. The Defensive line is not going to improve by graduating the beasts we had at end. That said, Margus should be ready to start, Grenier is passable, and the depth is better. The depth at Dline and LB should help us from getting worn down as much if we do struggle offensively in some games.

I don't know if Baylor this year has the offensive line to blow us off the ball. The A&M game will really be the test to see if the d-line is ready for prime time and the depth at LB is as good as we think it is.
