I saw him at 6'4" on Rivals.
Anyway, maybe it wasn't indicative of his play/potential, but I saw a lazy out of shape guy with a big gut that had some strength but made no plays really - kind of stood around with his hands on his hips a lot (maybe he's checked out knowing he's already in at Arizona).
The high school in my town (Nordhoff High School) plays more of a spread and has some really fast players (actually pretty good team at 7-0, they have a WR at 6'5" that I'd like SMU to look at actually, I don't know how fast he is but he has a lot of room to put on some weight and looked really competitive, but doesn't even have a rivals page). Anyway, Bruno's dad is one of the coaches at Oak Park so they've done a good job of promoting him but I don't see him as a 3 star from what I saw Friday night. But what do I know.

Sounds about like a diamond in the rough that SMU has offered. But I guess we now see what a team full of those can get.

Interesting first hand perspective. Sounds somewhat like some of the strange offers coming out of my area that are apparently based totally on size and not much else. Had 3 opposing high school head coaches ask me last season about a big line man type kid who attended a high school where I coach baseball All claimed that they could not even find the kid making any plays on the any of 3 game tapes they exchanged before playing. I was as perplexed as they were when the kid was offered by several programs. Appears that kids who are linemen that have the size and frame to put on weight are hard to come by and many programs offer them knowing they are projects simply because they are in short supply.
