The key to Vandy's resurgence; a young, energetic coach that gets recruiting. Plenty of coaches out there that could be that for us.

I also agree with sbsmith in that we should be able to win recruiting battles against mid level bcs schools.

Yes, but don't the coaches have to actually recruit?? Wasn't our HC playing golf in Hawaii????

I guess I just don't understand why we only recruit Texas. We could put a coach in a car heading down I-20 east for a few hours and we could clean up in Birmingham and Atlanta, which are two of the major recruiting areas for the SEC. Georgia and Alabama only have two BCS schools in each state. There are 3 star kids that wind up going to Wake Forest and Furman because all of the 4 and 5 stars are already signed at the BCS schools.

Tired of it too. If I say more it will just be in anger.

We recruit in other states provided said recruit shows interest or is coached by a friend or a FOAF of June's.

I said it on the game thread, but we need to call Petrino and lock him up early. June doesn't want to be here and the kids know it. Thanks for bringing us back but time to move on
