If we win C-USA - and I think we do, too - then that's a good year and continued improvement. Hopefully we pull an upset against TCU again.
We got beat. Let's get over it.

We are tied for second in CUSA, and our loss is to a lot better team than Texas State. Quit acting like a bunch of little b!tches. The season just started. If we don't start out worse than 3-3, we're going to be fine.

Houston, who lost by 17 to Texas State and fired their OC? Really?

I just saw a replay of Tulsa Iowa St. Tulsa gave Iowa St all they wanted. I thought we would do the same at Baylor since it is really not a lot of difference in the talent level at Iowa St and Baylor. I am disappointed we did not keep it closer but I expect us to rebound and at least keep it close in the aTm and TCU games. Tulsa will be a tough game for us IMO but we can do it.

This seems to be some pretty flawed logic after one game. By this logic, we will get smoked by TX State and Tulsa. UTEP will kill us and would probably be competitive in the Big 12.

If Vandy can play South Carolina that close and almost win we can sure do better.

We lost a game to a team that was dominant in a BCS conference last year.
LOL....guys you ain't seen nothing yet!
With our Sept schedule we could very well go 1-3.
The wolves will be howling.....the sky will be falling!
You just wait and see....Junior wrote:If we don't start out worse than 3-3, we're going to be fine.
You are correct sir.

I think the problem would be if Baylor turns out not to be a dominant team in their conference THIS year. We will find out when they play West Virginia. That will show us what type of team we lost to IMO.

I disagree, we've been recruiting a lot better than ISU lately and beat them 49-26 last year. Of course Ames is a tougher place to play than Waco though, so maybe Tulsa is a tad better. I didn't think Cody Green looked any good though.

I am talking about this year with no RG3, Wright, etc at Baylor. Don't they have more starters returning than Baylor? I guess we will see when they play.

Their DL and LB corps are better than ours, but they don't have anywhere near the team speed that we do.

You're exactly right. We should have lost yesterday, and we did. Because we played badly, we got thumped. We'll beat an SFA team that is better than people think, but we won't blow them out, much to the chagrin of the sky-is-falling crowd. A&M and TCU will be rough, but better than yesterday. Maybe we can beat them, maybe we can't. GG will learn a ton from yesterday's film and will get better as he gets used to his new teammates at game speed.
