I'm just afraid with what we saw last night unless the QB is TOLD to scramble he could receive a season ending hit. He has little protection - plus we need two backs in the backfield to push the running game. But, I guess everyone with a pulse and 40/40 eyesight could make these observations. I think GG has potential and believe and hope he will get better over the season.

gilbert isn't told not to scramble. He is trying to work the offense and wants it to start clicking.

Gilbert may need to scramble a lot next week, but he runs a 4.7 40 not a 4.3 like RG3 and aTm's new QB.
