I'm not sure if Manziel is ready to pick apart a defense with his arm yet but I hear TCU was 17 for 17 in the passing game. Plus both teams have a much stronger running game than Baylor.

Baylor has a much stronger passing game then TCU - and overall better personnel.

Good observations ponyte...I totally forgot about the punting...not only were they short but NO hang time...they were 3 second punts that didn't allow the kicking team to cover. Those were JUNIOR high school type punts....TAMU and TCU will exploit that weakness to the max. June doesn't believe in recruiting kickers and that has become very obvious.
The team had the spirit because the D had fun with so many turnovers...that was an anomaly and we can't expect that type of game to happen often.

I complimented Baylor's WRs repeatedly BEFORE and after the Baylor game. I'm saying right now TCU's receiving corp is every bit as good and they have the QB to prove it

Agreed, Stallion. No one under 16 should be allowed in this game. Graphic violence warning.

from the few snaps he has taken, it appears to me that we are at least in a little better position with Preston as a backup than we have been at the QB position for a while (of course, that's assuming Padron wasn't available to back up McDermott last year because of that injury)

GG is going to be challenged to stay healthy these next 2 weeks and I'm sure JJ's play calling will be designed to protect his QB for conference play

When are we going to see the supposed offensive brilliance of JJ around here on a consistent basis-ever? It seems the building blocks are never going to get there a la TCU under Patterson.

If A&M has pass rushers smashing Gilbert without even being touched like SFA did he'll be back in surgery.

Loftus was not recruited?

funny, in an interview during camp JJ said that our kicking situation was much better than last year. lol who knew it could get worse.

im so ready to see this old fart gone. his offense is crap. it's slow, predictable, and outdated. looking forward to see who's our next coach cause JJ has obviously lost his motivation.. what an overated coach.. I just wish ASU took him and bailed us out

True. A&M and TCU both have defenses that are a hell of a lot better than what we have seen so far.
