We scored 52 points yesterday and I am looking for good things this Saturday even if we do not win. I think the team will play well.

I'm not too worried about A&M's 6-5 WR-I'd be more concerned with a 4.4 WR. Parks might be able to stay with a TE playing WR. Until Parks stops it-he's going to see 20 passes a game. He could lead the team in tackles this year

UF's Defense is SIGNIFICANTLY better than SMU's D. I can't see us holding them under 35 points.

Several of those were on Driskell for being an idiot. One was awful where he was in a 5-wide formation and the line used slide protection (so that the end man was the only one of 6 possible rushers could come free) and he didn't even look at the guy. That was job #1 for him as he has to be able to throw a hot read.

Thats a QB screwup and 100% avoidable.

Remember that is a Gator offense that Bowling Green (who only beat Idaho by a TD) shut down for the most part and was horrible last year.

For me the question is will GG put it together this week ? He is going to have to be on target this week in order for us to have a chance to Win. He's showing signs of excellence, but just needs to hit them in stride like he does in practice...Just relax and have fun GG. Beat the Aggies !

Yeah, no kidding. We can watch film of the Florida/A&M game all week long, but we just don't have the same caliber of athletes on our D that Florida (or for that matter A&M has). Its going to be a long night for the Ponies.

June and his staff deserve tons of credit for getting this program off the deck and building it into something resembling a decent football program. But going into a BCS conference and keeping up with schools like A&M, Baylor, etc. is going to take a major upgrade in our recruiting. Until that happens, these games are going to be brutal.

lots to be worried about and we are definitely not Florida, but remember that this Florida team was ranked #24 coming into the Aggie game, not the typical top 5 team they usually have. Must be a reason. Florida must be playing some young unproven players in spots just like we are.

Florida should have lost to Bowling Green at home the week before.

Solid but untested D for the Gators. Horrible offense.

If a non-sec team had their year last year and struggled with Bowling Green they'd be ripping them. UF gets a pass somehow. I mean BG was worse than UTEP and look at the crap OU got on a road game!

On Defense, they have a ton of talent/experience. A majority of their players on D are 4/5 star Jr/Srs. A lot of those guys will be drafted including studs: Sharriff Floyd-DT, Bostic-LB, Matt Elam-S, Easley-DE, Jenkins (who got hurt)-LB, Riggs-CB, Hunter-DL.

I worry that TAMU will be able to easily move the ball down the field. TAMU has an unbelievable O-line, so Manziel is going to have ample time to throw.

UF was definitely playing it close to the vest in that game vs BG. I agree no excuses, just saying

Since so much of his yards were on screens and QB draws the ags have to hope he can throw downfield. He didn't make any big throws IMO. If he can't SMU can load the box and stymie A&M. Big unknown right now is how well he can throw downfield at the D1 level.
