SM.U. seems to be eliminating blue as one of our colors, I would be fine with the

home jerseys being red if you could see some blue also.

No body is getting their panty's in a wad and I personally could care less what colors we all wear, I would just like SMU to think things through a little more to be more effective with our SMU 'brand 'out there. You know BEFORE the season starts that TAMU comes in for a 1 time event at Ford and that they always wear that damn maroon and you can't make them change that....so why not schedule the 'white out' for that game and the wear red for SFA? Just sayin.. and .just being logical.

why does it matter? the house will be packed and both crowds will be loud. red isnt marroon.

I think having our Fans in the stands in red and blue make it unique, just my opinion. Either way, I agree with fill ford first than choose colors

Sounds pretty similar to the saying that Mack Brown started at Texas when he first got there, but we're missing one of the most important parts, STAY LATE. It would help if the students and some of the other fans would stay the entire game

The change to "all red, all the time" is in response to threads exactly like this that always pop up on Ponyfans. Alums complained that they never knew what "out" it was that week or what color to wear, so our new marketing plan is all about red and white. Blue is still officially one of our colors, but we're just standardizing on what color we will wear going forward.

First game is always a white out and every other game wear red.

Worry about getting fans in the damn place, then tell them what to wear. Good lord. I'll run our athletic department for free in my spare time, if that's what it takes to stop boneheaded decisions such as this as the white-out. Wear red for A&M? Is there a lavender SMU shirt I can get for the TCU game in 2 weeks?

This! Even if getting beat by 20 plus points, let's stay and root them on.

1st home game is white out

all others wear red

it will be that way for at least 5 yrs so get used to it

Red is not maroon - not even close - so whats the big deal?
