There is no excuse for playing your song before the other team has finished theirs. I don't know if it was the band, or if it was JJ. It does not matter. It is classless.

My take on this is that June shouldn't try to run a band when he can't even run his own football team. Maybe when he starts winning he can take up directing.

I left early - first time ever. After the draw on 4th could not take it. If JJ ordered the band to play its just one more nail in the coffin as far as I am concerned. Sad exhibition today.

What looks worse, the band starting Varsity before aTm finishes their obnoxiously long song, or the band playing Varsity as the team exits through the tunnel? June shouldn't have control over what the band does, but I don't think he would have turned the team back around once they headed for the locker room. That would have been more disgraceful than anything.

If you're really such a big fan of the band, DanFreibergerForHeisman, and bleed red and blue like your compatriot implies, stay for the band concert. Then you can sing Varsity and Shantytown with the band and the other real fans before you Rodeo.

This subject should be moved over to countingxxxxs, as they have a specific "Band" area on which you can post .

I thought it was quite rude of the aggie band to just keep going on and on and on and on and finish and then add in a few extra bars of circus clown music at the end of their school song. In retrospect, the other teams band needs to go first due to the length of time it takes for ags to link up and sway and sing and repeat over and over about sawing varsity's horns off which I guess makes them junior varsity. Kind of like the loud kid in elementary school who is always trying to get everyones attention but instead is just annoying.

I agree! Our band was correct in beginning to play! It was rude (surprise!) of a&m to play so long. I would have started earlier. This not the first time a band came into our stadium and did this.

I agree. The Mustang Band made the best of a bad and potentially very awkward situation.

Plus, they blew away the other band at halftime!
