Stallion is absolutely correct. Although not without its flaws - the star system is pretty much correct - so that when you have a team of three quarters two stars and 1 qtr three stars playing a team of almost 100% 4 star of better - you are going to see what we saw yesterday.

If we don't totally revamp our recruiting efforts and focus (which will require a new head coach) we will never even hang with TCU much less the tougher big 12 schools - and we will ultimately not make the cut between relevant and irrelevant teams. Only the benevolence of about 5 wealthy die-hard SMU fans are keeping us in the sphere of relevance, and we are losing our grip and about to fall into the abyss with Rice and Tulane....

however, what is more embarrassing is seeing a school like SHSU hang with Baylor. A school who totally reamed us in our first game. This highlights the quality of recruits that JJ has brought in here. I guess we can be glad we didn't schedule SHSU instead of SFA.
