Could you imagine the WR rating?! It would be 123/123.

Again...its not the QB in this crappy system, leave GG out of it...ANY quality QB would die in this read and react system. The defenses figured this out long ago. Can't blame the QB's...I feel sorry for the guys that have to try and figure this out..always its wait until the 5th game...THEN we got it...... BS

McDermott did great in the TCU game - he actually got the offense ok, just was lead footed and hurt all year.

Womack + Line + Flanigan + Wishbone = Heisman Combination

That's the point. The thread title is about the offense.......and look at GG's rating in the "crappy system". I like GG I'm not taking any shots at him just in case anyone misunderstands that. I'm an athlete and like to see other athletes do well.

Interesting data sample considering we are three games into the season with a brand new QB and having played two probable Top 25 teams. We will be fine.

If we get new WRs and eventually new coach then yes I agree

If we win, I'll gladly accept all backlash for being negative as no words could ruin my day that frogs were getting squashed out of the polls

Pachall rated #1 QB with a rating over 200 O.O

This is what is so frustrating-Gary Patterson is a Defensive Coach and his QB has the highest rating??!! June Jones is Mr. Offense and nothing. We should be winning games 59-56 every week.

Is the
voice of reason really allowed here? I'll check the bylaws.

I think June said on TV that it would be half way through the season. So 6 games would seem to be more accurate. We could still win CUSA since this is a weak year for CUSA.

Thanks for the good post on McDermott last year. I think he was a great passer (no mobility what-so-ever) but he sure could throw the ball. His biggest problem after the TCU game last year was injuries. He was sooo hurt that he would not even practice the entire week and then play in the game. He did that the entire second half of the year. It was a catch-22. Heal up help mobility but he didn't have any mobility and got hit all the time. So he was hurt all the time. He did heal up before the bowl game and did fantastic in that game. It would have been nice to see how he could have done while be healthy all year.
GG is healthy so far. I really want to see what he is capable of. I have no idea how long it will take him to get things going but I wish he would. If he does start making throws where the receivers can catch it AND the receivers actually catch the ball then I think we will start racking up lots of points. Hopefully he has all the bugs worked out over the past 4 weeks and will light the fire this weekend and last all the way through next year!
