I don't think there is any quit in the Mustangs really, we might have a trust and cohesiveness issue stemming back to the ASU affair though.
yes

I didn't see quit on the D side of the ball and all I saw on O was confusion. Confusion isn't quitting. We got a week to heal and learn and another week to prepare. This team has shown improvement. The D is starting to look very good. We just need to O to start clicking.
And we need to find a better punter pronto. That is killing us losing at least 10 yards in field position on every punt.
I didn't see them quitting. What I saw was an O Line that is in trouble when Gottschalk is out. A QB who can't get his bearings. A defense that is on the field almost the whole game, has a couple of pretty weak links, and no depth. Result: Disaster.
I don't think that JJ has much choice but to let GG start against TCU. Then he may have to decide if he wants to put CP out there and see what he can do against what looks to be a fairly weak CUSA. I predicted that we would go 7-5, and I figured that three of our losses would be to the 3 BCS schools, but I expected to see passes thrown in the general vicinity of our receivers and for us to show signs of life on offense by now.

Agree. I believe what we are seeing is the result of mediocre recruiting since Jones arrived and 2 new coaches. The receivers and the O line are the weakest links and they also happen to be the areas we have new coaches.

I have been to all three games and I have seen a bunch of receivers open for touchdowns with the ball overthrown. I have seen a bunch of high percentage passes thrown into the ground. I'm not a coach and I never played QB, but I did play receiver and I know that you have to have the ball thrown in your general vicinity to catch it. I also think if we could hold onto the ball a little longer the D would look much better than it has. 3 and out doesnt help a defense with no depth. Having said that, I'm not sure that anybody in CUSA is in better shape than us.

What are you talking about? Wide open receivers, if that were true those passes would connect I think GG assume they would be fast enough to get past protection. If he threw it on them it's easily going the other way.
Too early to tell.... After only three games.... We've lost every game we were expected to lose. And won the game we were expected to win. The way we are losing is certainly troubling.
