Haha. Better get out your checkbook! No wait. . .5 star recruits only take cash!
And please put the money in envelopes with UT Logos and postmarked in Austin. No more David Stanley situations.

Except we get money and kind of start over and get a CFB coach and not an NFL one. Next two years plus this one is going to be hard to ever hype our team again and pray they hit some undefeated underdog status otherwise it's out 1 win against Memp and maybe 2 lucky wins. We probably won't be bowling for awhile...
Classy reply. Thank you for that.

Listen, here's what I think you're missing. Yes, we lose a few solid players. Zach in particular. JG and TReed hurt too, but we've got some linebacker depth. We get a year of GG adjusting to the new offense. We'll be fine at receiver. I have every faith that the defense will remain strong, even improve in its weakest area: the secondary. Should we be favorites next year based on what we've seen this year from the team? No. But bottom of the barrel? Get serious.

Recruiting concerns don't start to affect us until the second or third year in the Big East based on the class we're seeing right now.

It just seems to me amazingly pessimistic to assume we'll be one of the worst in the BE. Wait until we win seven games this year and everybody on here will have us a Top 25 team.

Lol, of course no need to beat down guys who are trying to stay positive for the team. I hope your right on our WRs and the defense. I think the O-line will be exciting to a point given the youth and good experience. I truly hope GG and the offense rolls.

Recruiting I'm worry will be sub par and hope for some gems or guys who can be trained up. I'm worried like you said this class and possibly the next given this year.

I'm only pessimistic because I thought we were on upward trajectory. I thought being competitive against tech at their home, and beating TCU at their place was good signs to come. Now seeing that maybe all it was just luck and beating on future FCS teams. I can assure you unless we amazingly dominate TCU, it won't matter how many CUSA teams we beat I'll just assume at best a 3rd quartile team or worst given any losses against CUSA. I hope your right at this point if we are middle BE team then that's fine
