3 humiliating games in a row (SFA counts if you were there watching the offense) means most will expect to get.blown out badly by TCU, which means attendance will take a big hit.

An offensive possession consisting of more than 4-5 plays would be fun.

TCU will kill us. We will be lucky to score a touchdown. I hope I am wrong but I'll believe it when I see it. I am impressed with the defense but our offense is absolutely horrible. Offensive line has a lot to do with it. I am not too confident that we will make a bowl game this year due in large part to a tough non-conference schedule. I think our AD Department is run by a bunch of morons. We need to ease up on the non-conference schedule and get some wins before conference play starts. No one is going to show up against a Rice or Houston when we are 2-5. Next year's non-conference schedule is real tough too. Again, AD Department very incompetent. Morons overpriced A&M tickets and more empty seats than I anticipated. SMU always finds a way to screw it up. If the team has not already quit on June "I want to leave" Jones then they will after this tail kicking they are going to get by TCU.

Personally, if we lose to TCU, I won't be upset.
If we lose to Rice, Memphis, or Tulane, then I'm going to be seriously upset.

Hard to justify playing this game from TCU's perspective if SMU can't even be bothered to show up? I hope this is just hyperbole over the losses as there is really no excuse for at least a similar showing to the number of SMU fans that were at the A&M game.
there will be a lot simply because it's parents' weekend. i wonder what it would be like if it were just a normal saturday.

Stubhub can change quickly but from yesterday to today there are about 100 less tickets available. So somebody is buying some. Of course, they could easily add 200 tickets tonight or tomorrow but at least it shows there is some ticket interest. SMU needs to put up good attendance numbers in these games if they want these games with TCU to continue. TCU is playing a tougher SOS now and could just as easily play North Texas, Rice, Houston, etc.

I'm not worried about the defense for two main reasons: first, we play a high-risk, high-reward style with a lot of blitzes that is heavily dependent on a strong secondary that has been so-so (to be kind); you're either going to get to the QB, cause a turnover, or give up yards - that's about it. We saw its potential against SFA and at times last season, but we also saw the downside to it against Baylor and the Aggies after a while, which brings me to the second reason I am not worried: fact is, if your D is spending that much time on the field, they're going to give up yards and ultimately points. The D has already proven it can make plays; the offense needs to actually produce something that puts an opponent on its heels a bit to help them out.

A&M game had temporary bleachers for 4,000 more(which have been taken down)

You could probably have sold 41,000 for A&M but ticket prices of $90 probably held crowd down from the expected 40,000 predicted by SMU officials. Capacity probably max 37,000 for TCU. With SMU winning last year and TCU undefeated you would think SMU could beat 2010 numbers if SMU fans bother to show up. If we don' match at least 2010 then that's not a good sign considering our alleged huge increase in season ticket sales. Last game was on Friday Nite too wasn't it?

If you look at the Official SMU Ticket Office site it shows really only a handful of availiable SEATS (click on shaded sections) but sometimes they don't release all remaing seats-I guess to make it look like Hot Ticket

Smu fans will most likely show up since its the only possible win that matters after this game regardless we beat BIG utep or any other crap USA team. Those wins are irrelevant. I mean 8-4 or 7-5 doesn't signal a big entry to the big east... That's if we can even pull that...
