Mine is 23 years old. It has been living on borrowed time. New ones run about $200 right? :(

Because of the very wet bleachers, everyone stood for the entire game. Something a few folks on here have been wanting to see for some time now.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

+1. That one made me chuckle.

My back was hurting so bad from standing I had to move up higher to a more empty area so I could do the wet [deleted] sit down.

Corral.

Anyone ive brought there has enjoyed. Guys there were working hard to fix uncontrollable water/mud at entrance.

Need one inside stadium by mockingbird that opens up towards field. Access based on MC. Open prior to game. Closes before kickoff. Reopens at half and closes in 3rd.

Was not just the entrance. I was ankle deep in mud everywhere inside. But it was still a great relief from the rain for a while.

I have to disagree on this one. The people with umbrellas were annoying, and I didn't bring one because I knew I couldn't get in the stadium with one!

We finally out kicked our coverage (Ok, they almost ran it back for a TD but it beats a 19 yard punt).

D was outstanding. Note that our D has stuffed other teams running game.

We finally attacked the middle. If only we could catch the ball. Attack the middle successfully and those backers hammering Line at the line will not be as eager to jump on a run.

Didn't give up. We had a chance at the end cause we didn't give up.

The corral.... that was interesting. Might be on of you guys on here, but I remember seeing two older guys, one had a son and the other had a daughter. Wow those two kids fell asleep in there and was wanting to be somewhere completely different haha. Surprise they were wearing SMU stuff. Either way I love the corral, at least it can make most people feel welcome and happy. Despite what Myrdel says about me, incorporate my thinking by making people pay for tickets to get food and drinks

I have to disagree on this one. The people with umbrellas were annoying, and I didn't bring one because I knew I couldn't get in the stadium with one!

I had mine but made sure it wasn't obstructing the view of anyone behind me (who also had them). On another note, I did see a group of people screaming at a guy standing with one, which lead to a bunch of back and forth cursing, which I thought was unneccesary. I ended up giving up on my umbrella though because the wind kept turning it inside out.
