He'll probably just have his license suspended and pay a small fine, so not sure what all these lawyers can really do. I doubt he'll see jail time. I'm sure his "real" consequence from his perspective is the football implications. We'll see if Fatterson continues to show different treatment to players depending the impact it has on his ability to win games.

Note: I almost hope he doesn't get suspended because it will show what I've always thought, namely that i) football is #1 in toadland and ii) it won't give them any excuses for the loses they're going to have against this better competition.

Your right, won't be much of a charge legally. Unless he was on some probation for earlier charges and it is violation of some probation requirement.

I'm sure Patterson will say we can't suspend him until we let the legal stuff run its course, which conveniently will be after the season is over. If didn't suspend him for a game against the mightly Grambling, doubt he will sit him out for Big 12 game.

But he should, it is an easier Big 12 game at home this week and they should win anyway. If Patterson smart he will sit him this week because they will win anyway given their opponent, then bring him back for the UT, OU, etc. games.

Obviously the young man has issues and that is sad. He has a bright future ahead, but more important than that right now is the person. I don’t know what the football program will do from that perspective, but I hope the Athletic Department, coaches etc. step up and focus on the person and give him the help and support he needs, and not just sweep it under the carpet or pass it on.

His roommate Tanner Brock transferred to UTEP …. OK no one liners on that location and his vocation.

OK makes sense. Did he or does he not have a brother (TE) at TCU? I recall seeing him in last years game.

I agree that the focus should be on helping Casey and not enabling the behavior with ineffective consequences or counseling. We are talking about a young man's future outside of football. This is the game of life.

Yep, that's the oldest of the three. Was in Texans camp this summer

Who was the other QB TCU used in the game? Judging by their first couple games, this year wasn't gonna be anything special anyways.

I hope the kid gets help, he is obviously spiraling out of control.

My first instinct is to just be done with the kid and wipe our hands. (I do think he should be out for the rest of the year.)

My second thought is that he must have a real problem and that needs to be the priority. Hopefully he can get some help and turn things around. At this point I am fine with him never playing another down at TCU but I hope we do whatever we can to help him...maybe keep him around the team??? What a shame.
