Amazingly understandable. I feel bad for the band I truly do. The only time they have been treated well was the flight to Hawaii. However that only covers one season, last year.
I'm sorry you and the band had to experience this.malonish wrote:The report is true Or-See-Nee. I was next to the band in the stadium. Fantastic support only to be shunned. I'm p'ed off.
Biggest shock of the night.PerunasHoof wrote:June was the first off the field.
Good post! I would bet that you would have had Zack power the damn ball over at the 2 yard line and finish the Green Wave off....I'm4Peruna wrote:I can do nothing but cry (female so I am allowed). So sad that our coach is such a piece of crap that most on the team are nothing but embarrassed, the alumni are [deleted], and RGT doesn't give a crap. Time for Mustang Nation to pull ourselves together and send the message---Fire June Jones NOW

If this report is true, then the team should have had the HONOR to stick around for the band and the alma mater. Lord knows the band sticks around for them.
But they probably learned something from a coach that doesn't want to stick around.
Apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
FIRE JUNE JONES NOW.
This says a lot about the morale of this team, when they are fractured even over something like this. We may beat Rice and Memphis because they are so terrible, but I wouldn't be surprised to see us go winless the remainder of this season.PerunasHoof wrote:June was the first off the field. He led the team. One of the players to stay behind and do pony ears was McJunkin. Class act, love that guy.

The coach doesn't care and the team is checked out - JUST LIKE IN BENNETT'S LAST SEASON!!!!!
Unless we play Memphis and uconn at home muhaha03Mustang wrote:Looking at the schedule, I only see 2 more wins, max. We will drop at least one of three from Memphis, Rice, and USM, and we will definitely lose the others.
Is a 4-8 season enough to get JJ to walk away, knowing full well that we will be 0-12 next year?
That's because those two show respect, the other ask for you to bow to his mighty achievementsbubba pony wrote:The band had to take the bus about 10 hours each way. My child was in the band and said DOH and Rhonda came over after every game and thanked them.
