Next year will be a blood bath, Jason. I would go ahead and start working on your next thesis so you'll be ready at BE time. That is undoubtedly the largest pile of poopoo I have read since the novel my wife let me borrow on the beach (Harlequin series I think).

I rather us run the ball 4 times into the end zone then throwing it 3 times and a FG

the problem is that all of the signs have pointed to JJ not wanting to be here. And he hasn't fixed that or changed that perception in any way. Then, when you lose to the worst team in country, well, then people don't cut you any slack. Mercenaries don't get slack.

Play calling lost us the game. On the head coach. Sorry. But it is what it is as they say. Zach was whipping them all over the field. Just keep running it. The other major issue was starting slow/flat emotionally and that is on the head coach as well. Strike 2. A great coach would have his team so worried/paranoid that they'd get embarrassed that they'd come out on fire. They didn't because he didn't. Bottom line. This team has some talent and, quite surprisingly, there is more talent coming. But this head coach has completely checked out. I've been concerned that we couldn't get anyone better and that's why I've been against running him out. However, if we can land a Kliff Kingsbury type, I'd be all for saying goodbye to JJ.

Plain and simple, it is absolutely asinine to call a pass play with under 2 minutes to go and that close to the goal line and with an all conference running back. Absolutely stupid idiotic call. Even the Tulsa game announcers were completely blown away that June would do that. No excuse. Period.

Our play calling inside the 20 sucks.

Who is coming in besides the TE that looks promising?

this is true, almost every game he pulls some real head scratchers. Give him his props, he did beat TCU last year and had the offense looking good that day. He is an enigma, he could be great, but hurts himself in goofy and stubborn ways.

Okay Ojai, I would like to know where more talent is coming from, because if you're thinking it's from our current verbals, you are sadly mistaken. A lot. We will say adios this year to 2-3 times the talent that is incoming.

Even I have to admit that the play calling could have been better. We had much more talent on the field than Tulane but the coaching was not where it should have been. A 1st year coach with less talent and depth had his team more ready to play than a coach in his 5th year with more talent and depth.

Is anybody going to bring up the incredible mistakes the OLM made in short yardage? Get blown up at the 1, false start at the 1 and another holding or something all close to the endzone. Geez they cost us as many points as anyone

How many really good teams has JJ beat in 5 years-you can count them on one hand.
