Actually we had a very strong storm this morning with high winds. These flags can "fly off the hanger", much like SMU fans. That is probably what happened to your SMU flag. I doubt some kids or vandals would steal it.

I don't think anyone should be ashamed to fly their SMU flag, no matter what. At the end of the day you're not a TCU fan or an A&M fan. Win, lose, or draw, I'll always be proud of my university--although sometimes I may be slightly embarrassed about a performance. Counting my blessings that I am an SMU fan for the rest of my life.
