Actually we don't control our own destiny. SMU could win out but still lose a tiebreaker to Tulane if they won out too. Why would that be depressing? To me that would signal that we were all wrong about Tulane. We would finish with out best record in ages (8-4, 7-1) and be bowl eligible, going to a decent bowl game. Additionally, our only CUSA loss would be to the best team in the conference. I would gladly have the team win out even if it meant Tulane winning out as well.Mustangs35SMU wrote:Good God. I think he made the same mistake that most of us did in assuming that Tulane was already out of the picture. But they are now, so it doesn't even matter!!
