It was truly an honor to witness SMU score the most points in school history - and to see the team do it while wearing school colors after all of the horrifying rumors of the week.
GO PONIES!

I wish I could have been there but I got to watch after work in ATX (yuck) in a bar that kind of laughed at me and gave me the corner tv to watch the "pointless" games freaking UTers. Anyways awesome, I laughed like a drunkard after every interception from the 8th one on

Given that 72 points is a school record, isn't this the highest point total in ANY era?

So when did having a good defense become an indictment of a head coach?

I'm not saying that I'm back on the JJ bandwagon. But if I had to choose a win over Houston or a loss to Tulane, I'd choose the W over Cooger High.

The Tulane loss really hurt. This more than makes up for it in my mind.
I still believe you let this season play out before making any judgments about June Jones. Who knows, maybe he'll also start to wear a Brooks Brothers sport coat and giggle the whole game so everybody's happy.

Agree. Just getting annoyed with all the people who are BLAMING June Jones for a W.

I disagree on this win making up for the loss to Tulane. I think that only winning all but one of our remaining games or winning them all would make up for the loss to Tulane. However, I do agree that you have to let the season play out before making a decision on June Jones. The staff needs to change regardless of what happens because our current recruiting is atrocious!

Who's blaming JJ for a win???? I said that he should step aside and give credit to the defense coaches for teaching them sound fundamentals despite dealing with injuries

Well you gotta at least admit that no one expected a 30 point win over Houston. I expected that less than a 1 point loss at Tulane.

Not saying it made up for the loss. Just saying it was more satisfying.

I don't think C of C would want to shell out 4 mil to fire a coach who's team just scored the
school record point total, and is right on schedule according to Texas Football in W/L
total
Most of these spoiled brat twenty somethings on here who want to fire JJ don't realize it took TCU 13 years of great coaching to reach the Rose Bowl are
IDIOTS
