A kid wearing that exact same jacket was at the SMU game this weekend-looked like he was with little brother. I assume it was Hines

I don't think we have one player from DISD student on the current football team while we are proclaiming to be Dallas' team. And that should not be the case imo. Go get him Coach Phillips.

The last kid that I can recall being from DISD on the roster was Derrius Bell.

Kimball's doors will probably not be welcoming SMU recruiters in the future. Such a sorry bunch of {gary fattersons} on this staff.

Too bad our coaches can't recruit like a Gary Patterson!

What makes you say that? Just curious if you know something specific. Thanks.

Pathetic. Granted the decision of which college to go to is not always based on concrete criteria, but how do we lose a Dallas guy to New Mexico??

Why do you say that? Did our coaches insult them or just not put in enough effort?

here's a little secret that those in recruiting circles know. There's a lot less quality, eligible football players in DISD than I think many of you believe. There are some at magnet schools like Skyline and some at Carter -but really the days of quality DISD football are pretty much over and have been for a decade. Kimball has one good DT prospect this year but you have to go back a long time since they've had a BCS level prospect that could qualify. It used to be different,
