Man we have some pansies...I wish I lived in Dallas and could go to every game. If it is cold, wear a jacket. If it rains, bring a rain coat. Get into the stadium before kickoff. Cheer like hell for the mustangs. Be loud and proud and stand up the whole time if you feel like it. I came to homecoming game last year and my wife and I went back to watch after the delay. True fan.

I just moved to SC and attended my first Clemson game a few weeks ago. All I can say is wow. Next game will be USC (SORRY HB Pony Dad, I mean Univ of South Carolina.)

Good grief. The Weather Channel has the temperature at kickoff right at 60. It doesn't get any better than that to watch a foootball game.

crowd will swell to 15k for crowning of homecoming queen/king then immediately bolt for the nearest exits to enjoy the great victory that is homecoming queen/king. if that doesn't say smu i don't know what does.

Man, I hate to admit that I agree with you but I agree with you. Love SMU, but didn't this tradition die, like, 50 years ago at most other places?

I still liked how it was done where I went to school: king and queen were announced at a huge pep rally in the stadium the night before homecoming. This allowed them to ride in a special car for the parade and allowed everyone to focus on the actual game.

Sure am glad a lot of posters on here aren't meteorologist! Could not ask for better football weather today!
