Did not know that. Ouch.

Agreed that TCU should NEVER appear on any structure in Dallas. Ever.

Mr. Hunt, please keep "TCU" off Dallas' main landmark.
Now that's what I'm talking about

If TCU is playing for the nat'l championship at JerryWorld, can he put it up there then? How about UT or Kansas State? Are those banned, too? If his hotel is 95% booked by USC fans, is he still limited to SMU only graphics? Should we have not welcomed Alabama and Michigan fans to our city in September?

Nobody here gives a [deleted] about us. Move on.

Yes because that's what a true SMU alum would do. I'm sure Fort Worth towers wouldn't put up red and blue for any reason

He does it to appease business buds and show off in the community, not to deliver tenants to his hotel. That implication is absurd. He should just tell his complainy TCU intern that TCU-things stay in Fort Worth and that SMU is Dallas' team. It isn't a welcome banner, it's a "yay, guess who won today..."

My dad also pays a TCU tuition bill, but still has the courtesy to take off his TCU hat when he watches a SMU game.

I really don't get you guys. His alma mater's big push is to make SMU "Dallas' team". What he is doing by lighting up "TCU" on Dallas' landmark couldn't be more contrary to that push and it is certainly the most visible refutation of that campaign. It says "SMU is Dallas' team...but also, so is TCU." I don't hate R.L. Hunt, or begrudge him, but I do roll my eyes everytime I see it happen and think "thanks Ray for making SMU's climb a little bit harder". I'm sure he owns buildings in downtown FW that he could emblazon in purple like the rest of downtown if he wanted to impress his TCU kin.
