I stand corrected on the final outcome but they are eligible this year.

Exactly. Southern Miss had absolutely nothing to do with the decision not to go to the Liberty Bowl, and it's ridiculous to think we do as well.

would be a nightmare for the SEC if their #6 or #7 team lost to a CUSA team this year; they still haven't gotten over that UCF win
