I would imagine he wants to stick around another year at A&M and try and win a championship

Who said anything about BCS bowls?

I'd take a 9 win season at this point...

Oh, well that's not even close to us supposedly firing guys after year 5 for not getting to a BCS game. The first 3 didn't even get us to a single bowl and the 4th guy will pretty much have to be let go after we bottom out next year. This certainly won't keep us from getting a good HC.

For going 3-9 and showing zero interesting in recruiting. You think you can top that for 2 million dollars a season?

Interviewing 101: Make sure to let your interviewer know how you can improve upon the work of the last guy.

REJECTED :!:

Your resume :!:

Shows you have 3 wins when you have 5.

Very confused.

Again this is in the event June gets fired after next season (when we go 3-9 courtesy of a schedule we're not even remotely prepared for). Of course this could all be rendered moot if June takes another job. Either way no candidate is going to be scared to take this job because a string of coaches with losing records got fired after being given 5+ seasons.

I dont want him.... His offense is based around broken plays and hopes that a defense over pursues a QB scramble so that he can make an easy completion... it's the same crap that Greg Davis ran with Vince Young... Players like that come around once every 10 years, that's not a consistent winning strategy... All of this A&M crap is a fluke....It's not a real offense, yeah it works when you have the guy to run it, but it won't be consistent and wont win you championships, Alabama had every shot to win that game and they screwed themselves...

Are you really arguing that Vince Young and Greg Davis were a failure? Put down the glass d!ck, man. We're 5-5 right now and heading towards being eligible for our fourth straight bowl. Things are broken, but we're not in the abyss we were in fit the last twenty years.

I'm saying that those occassions are rare and unpredictable! Vince Young was a mediocre QB that would have been a nobody (still is a nobody in the NFL) had it not been for his ability to run. I'm saying that it's not an organized offense. I'm not saying that it was a failure, I'm saying that Greg Davis caught lightning in a bottle and it was a fluke. As for the glass d!ck I don't even know what you're talking about, but feel free to use whatever metaphor/analogy you want. In no way am I saying that I'm happy with where we're at, but I do think the idea of Kliff Kingsbury is dumb because I don't think he's proven squat. His offense is a gimmick. Hey Johnny go out there and scramble for your life, or throw if someone gets open due to the busted coverage. It's not organized and is not a consistent offense that's gonna take us to the next level. I'm not saying Johnny Midget isn't a good athlete, but he is a mediocre QB when asked to fulfill QB duties and that's why you won't see that dweeb in the NFL. I'm simply saying that the VY Greg Davis offense was a fluke, and that's why one is on suicide watch and the other got canned from his OC position.
