I'd take any chance to take on an SEC team. No matter where it is.

I personally had an absolute blast last year in Birmingham.

A conference championship, a Top 25 ranking and a recruiting class that doesn't make we want to throw things.
Got me there.

Independence Bowl is not a CUSA Bowl

I'd be tickled to play in a bowl we haven't played in before.
So we've gone from complaining about 0 and 1 win seasons, to complaining about going to the same bowl again?

I'd say if that is the case, we have come pretty far in the last 5 years. I'm no JJ sunshiner, but that is an incredible change in expectations. I'd be happy to play an SEC team in a bowl this year. Hopefully it will be in the Liberty Bowl!!

Pony up!

Liberty Bowl of course (means we're C-USA champions). If not then let the team go to their most favorite place on Earth, Hawaii.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Only if they leave June there.

Would love to see CUSA say screw you to June and put is in Fort Worth.

So give the team the middle finger in order to do the slightest harm to June? Nice.

I know that, but some publications were predicting we fill that slot. BBVA bowl is not a CUSA bowl either, but we managed to land there last season.

Wouldn't mind the trip to DC against an ACC team.

Sue me, I'm selfish that I actually want to attend the bowl game if we get there.

The fact that this team and coaching staff are so hooked on going to Hawai'i has, imo, hurt our season.

I think any bowl is fine.

With the amount of conferences that may not be able to fill up their slots, we could really land anywhere. For those hoping for New Orleans, that means we would be playing the sun belt #1 school, which stinks. Win and you were supposed to. Lose and people laugh at you.

Hawaii bowl ain't much better...would likely play Nevada again or maybe fresno st. Blah. We could play in the Armed Forces bowl which would be a similar MWC matchup but would at least be closer to home.

Give me Liberty Bowl or give me death...or at least give me Compass bowl, against another SEC team.
