Again, the 2015 divisions mean nothing, per the latest McMurphy update

Yes, that is correct. I would guess that they simply move Temple back to the East in 2015 and insert the new western team.

I hope McMurphy is correct about the 2015 division because thy are a lot more competitive that the 1st. The 2013-14 division are very weak on the SMU side and strong on the other side.

2013-14 may look weak but IMO we will be lucky to win one game- cougar high. I think Memphis will be greatly improved next year and the rest of the teams will be bigger, better and stronger thanks to better recruiting and coaching.

Temple, UH, are Memphis wins. SDSU is a toss up.

Reb- agree on cougar high. IMO Temple and Memphis will be greatly improved next year. A lot will depend on those who replace our graduating seniors. If they are not really ready to play it will be a tough year and they may get totally beat up with our OOC games.. I think our O line will be much better but the D line is going to be a big question.

Depends where the game is.

Based on right now, Boise and SDSU are probable losses. But we should beat Temple, Houston, and Memphis handily.

After losing to Tech, Baylor, TAMU and TCU, that gives SMU 6 losses. Plus, Temple is better than you think. The only games I see SMU favored against in 2013 are Memphis and Houston.

Temple is not a pushover.

I would like to split the divisions as:

BYU Cincinnati
Boise State Louisville
San Diego State Temple
SMU Connecticut
Houston Rutgers
South Florida Memphis
Central Florida Navy

These divisions are fairly balanced, with the west being slightly tougher. However, they keep the east teams in a compact regional group, and the west teams are together with the Florida schools. If it is Air Force or a western team instead of BYU simply substitute the names. If it is Army or an eastern team instead of BYU then I would move the florida schools to the east and Memphis/Louisville/Cincinnati to the west to preserve their rivalry.

Thrilled that SMU will be playing in Philadelphia at least once in the next two years, then every other year in Annapolis!!!!!

all this is interesting, lots of variety, lots of variation, BUT, isn't it sad that we are not playing in a conference where the teams are right in our part of the country, natural rivalries, etc. Temple? USF? Boise? Good Lord, whatever happened to Baylor and TCU?

Why on earth would they want us to be apart of their conference? We had nothing that TCU doesn't already have and has been building for a decade.

I hope to see you at one of those games. We will definitely make the trip down from CT.
