I like the second part, sorry but I enjoy seeing JJ disappointed so he an feel a 1/100th of what we feel on a game by game basis

Losing to Tulane and Rice has changed my views about SMU football and I agree the program lacks something. Coaches must provide that something and this year JJ is not doing what he was hired to do (WIN GAMES). BUT, I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER wish for SMU to lose at ANYTHING competitive!!! And if SMU goes to a bowl game I hope I can go too!!!

if this team can beat Tulsa next week, they will deserve a bowl and can be thankful for CUSA and it's bowl affiliations.

we've actually done very well against Tulsa in Ford Stadium, but they are clearly the better team coming into this game. The only good news is that they've already locked down home field for the CUSA Championship game

Even if we do win, I don't see why any bowl would actually want us there.

Having said that, I want us to go to a bowl game for 1 reason only: to see one more game with Zach Line, Margus Hunt, Taylor Reed, and JaGared Davis in an SMU uniform. It's been a pleasure watching those guys develop and give all they can for our school. They deserve all our support, especially when they have played for what amounts to a lame duck coach.

If Tulane and Rice can beat SMU, SMU can beat Tulsa. Not saying it is likely, and those 2 losses make it even less probable, but I never would have thought we lose to both Tulane and Rice this season.

We have the talent to beat Tulsa, I just don't know that we can pull off the team effort it would take for us to do it, and I certainly don't think that Jones can fire the team up enough to get it done.

Absolutely, we have been very good in home conference games since 2009. And we've won on our last 3 Senior Days.

Its senior day on Saturday so hopefully the seniors can rally the team.

Unfortunately we are nothing like Oregon so what Oregon does really doesn't apply to us. For the sake of this argument, at least it gives us a chance on Saturday.

You have to wonder how 'prepared' tulsa will be. This game means nothing to them as they are the div. champions win or lose.

hopefully Tulsa will come in flat and our guys will come out and play their best for senior day. CUSA will probably not be able to fill it's 6 bowl spots...that will require SMU beating Tulsa, Rice winning at UTEP and Marshall winning at ECU

I'd still love to see these guys beat Tulsa and get that Hawaii bowl bid
